More effective scripts shouldn't cost you anything.
Increases in results - opt-ins, appointments, leads generated, orders taken, closed sales, upsells, downsells, autoships, increased average order/account size and face-to-face meeting conversion...should return your script writing investment many
times over.
You are already spending money. You are paying people to sell, take calls or make calls. Maybe spending money to make the phone ring.
At the point of decision, are your people using the words best calculated and properly sequenced to get the result you seek?
If those words lack impact, are delivered poorly, take too long, don't communicate value or sufficient reason to agree to your offer or even stay on the phone... this is costing you money every day, every call. Plus, you are losing out on business you should have.
Choosing the best words to use in any sales situation is not just about the phone. Many organizations carefully prepare to maximize conversions in face-to-face interactions.
METHODOLOGY
How does it work?
I will interview you and anyone else with potentially useful information. You will send me information requested. You will provide me names of your major competitors. I will do my own independent research before writing anything.
A call sequence or "playbook" is developed with script paths and responses to all regularly recurring situations.
That playbook will be shared with your team. They must understand the strategies behind the script paths and responses. They must be trained for proper delivery.
You might do that yourself with internal resources. You may have me train or coach on-site or via phone. All phone sessions are recorded and delivered back to you on CD.
Commonly I am given access to live or recorded conversations or spend time on-site listening, coaching, suggesting adjustments.
If you have a smaller organization and a single point of contact, all this can be accomplished quite quickly.
If you have a larger organization, more complex script paths, more scenarios that must be anticipated, multiple managers and a legal/compliance department that must be consulted... it will take longer.
INVESTMENT LEVELS
The minimum project fee is $2,500.
The minimum retainer is $2,500 or 50% of the project fee, whichever is more.
Retainer relationships are available and can be more economical.
Most projects are handled in the $2,500 - $10,000 range.
It is not uncommon for larger organizations with multiple locations, multiple levels of management, legal and compliance that must be consulted and more extensive training needs to invest $15,000, $25,000 or more to accomplish their business objectives.
